Happy Girl on Turkey Day

I hope everyone had a Happy thanksgiving. I ate lots of yummy food and gained about 50 pounds, but i'm sure i'm not alone! Haha! I spent the holiday with good friends and family. I went home with my best friend from college Molly and we had a blast together! My mom's surgery went well. She had a large tumor removed from her tummy and is now recovering. It's Freezing where i am and I'm staying warm in my new favorite slippers and matching socks! Aren't they just too cute for words!! i love them so much! I hope you ladies are having a fabulous monday!! Did any of you do anything exciting this Thanksgiving?

One Year Anniversary: Rest In Peace Daddy

It's a very emotional day for me. Tonight is the one year anniversary of my dad's death. He was hit on his motorcycle from behind sitting at a red light. I'll never forget the moment when I got the phone call that changed my life forever. My dad was my best friend and he was such a kind and giving individual. I was his pride and joy. I'm so blessed he was my father and helped me become the woman I am today. Even though he's gone.. I still feel like he's here with me. I'm going to a Bible study tonight with some friends and I'll have their support to help me get through this awful time. I just want my dad to know that I think about you everyday and I love you so much. I can't wait to see you and Granny again one day in heaven!

I encourage anyone reading to go out a tell your loved ones you love them. You never know when it's their last day on Earth.

Headed To The Woods

I'm headed to the woods! Gun Season ends next Sunday, and i'm bound to get me a huge buck before then. That's how we do things in the South. People are always so shocked when I tell them I hunt! Just because this girl loves pink and pretty much everything girly doesn't mean anything! I love to hunt, fish and camp. You notice even out in the woods I gotta sport some kind of pink! I'm wearing my new shades with an adorable pink bow. It's so precious. Do any of you have any fun hobbies other than shopping that you like to do? Hope everyone's having a great weekend!

I thought this post was appropriate since most of us put up our Christmas Tree's after Thanksgiving. I wanted to post some pictures of delicious Christmas tree's that I personally love. Instead of the typical Red and Green Christmas Tree... I think it's a lot of fun to play with color and let your Christmas Tree reflect your personality in a fun and creative way.
