Hawaiian Winter Hair
I have been missing summer like crazy. I'm so tired of wearing sweaters & boots! I literally can't wait for warmer weather. I started looking back at pictures I took last summer & remembered how much I wore one of my favorite hair clips. It was a gift from my best friend Cristina. It was a yellow Hawaiian Plumeria flower hair clip. I thought.. why can't I wear these in winter? I'm craving for warmer weather & I think they are the most adorable hair accessories. What I love even more is that they don't pinch your hair or fall out easily. I decided to get them in every single color. They usually cost 20$ at a boutique near me. I was so happy when a girl had the whole collection brand new for 16$ on Poshmark! What a steal!! I immediately bought them. I'm so happy I did! I've been rocking them this past week even in the snowy cold conditions! Are there any hair accessories your currently obsessed with?

Dreaming of Spring
I was recently cleaning out my macbook pro and came across this picture that I took last summer.
I immediately got excited. I'm a born and raised Florida girl and now i'm living in North Carolina. It's been miserably cold here too. I enjoy the winter and fall weather to an extent. However, my heart truly loves Spring and Summer. I always gravitate towards clothes that are bright and vibrant. It matches my personality and I love accessorizing with color. Although I know most girls in the winter time have all these rules about wearing bright colored clothes in the winter. I find that repulsive! I don't live my life trying to please society. I wear what makes me happy and i'm all about wearing a bright neon sweater in the middle of January. I went and peeked into my Spring and Summer closet and just got so happy inside. I can't wait to wear cute little skirts and dresses with adorable sandals and wedges. Does that get you excited too? I'm just tired of having to dress in layers and layers of bulky clothing to stay warm. I'm only in North Carolina. I can't even begin to imagine what you ladies are going through who live even further north. Stay warm girls and Spring is slowly and surely on it's way :)

Pampered Weekend: Hair, Shellac & Facials
Have you ever had a week where it felt like it lasted for an eternity? Well that pretty much sums up mine. I was hoping the weekend weather would also be nice. Well that also didn't work in my favor. It was snowing & bitterly cold. I decided I needed a relaxing weekend to just focus on myself, & I wasn't going to let the weather, or anything else get in my way. I made an appointment to get my hair done with my stylist at Ulta. Have any of had any services there before? My stylist does amazing & she is so good with color & really listens to what I want. I always appreciate that. I typically see her every five weeks. Great thing about Ulta versus other salons is they send out great coupons that I can use on my services & it saves me money. That always makes me happy. I also rack up on my points. I was thrilled when I checked out & I ended up getting my holly grail eye liner by Mally for free. A 26$ value free!! It's just what I needed to make this weekend even better. All those points I earned paid off. After that I went & got my nails done. I did shellac & they turned out beautiful. After that I headed over to the spa. I got a facial & it was just so relaxing. I'm a medical esthetician & I'm constantly working on my patients & sometimes you forget how great it feels on yourself. How often do you get facials? I have a lot of skin care post that I'm going to be posting & I'm very excited. Hope everyone had a great weekend. As most people will be watching the Oscars tonight.. I honestly could care less. I'll be watching the Walking Dead! :)
Till next time

New hair pictures
Hey ladies! So I wanted to do a quick post. I recently changed my hair from being blonde my entire life to dark. It's been a week & I thought I would share some pictures of how it looks. It's definitely different but it's surprisingly growing on me. My hair feels softer & even looks shinier than it did when it was blonde. Blonde chemicals were really damaging to my hair.

Celebrity Inspiration: Dark Hair, Blue Eyes
Every girl needs a change once in awhile. My hair has always been blonde & I have these big blue eyes.. That I get compliments on all the time. I have had so many people tell me I should color my hair dark. I've been told that it will make your blue eyes pop even more. It's really been on my mind lately. My hair hasn't been growing as fast as it should. I think it's because every five weeks i'm going to the salon and having my stylist highlight and full foil it with bleach. However, I've always been blonde. This would be a huge transition for me. I don't even know if it would look good on me. Friends tell me it would.. It's just scary I guess. But life is about changing and not being afraid to take chances right? haha! My appointment is in less than two weeks, so I have some time to decide on what to do. I posted a few pictures of celebrities who have dark hair and blue eyes. I think they all look amazing and it looks their hair looks so healthy. I also think having dark hair would help me get my hair healthier. I wouldn't have to keep putting harsh chemicals on it every so often. Have any of you done something drastic to your hair in the past? Would love to hear your stories or thoughts on what I should do!
Have a great day ladies!
