Current Loves*New Foundation, Nails, and Room Decor!

This month I have been obsessed with my new foundation. It's by Lancome and it's called Teint Idole Fresh Wear. I got it in shade "Bisque 0W" It goes on so smoothly and a little bit goes a long way. It is a full coverage foundation, and it's great for ladies with super oily skin like me! Estee Lauder double wear is my HOLY GRAIL foundation, but it saddens me to say that it's been breaking me out like a mad woman! I thought it was time for a change, so we broke up! It's really hard because we have been together for years and years! I honestly don't know what went wrong! Haha. But after using the Teint Idole by Lancome I have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin. It's back to it's clear self, and thats how I like it. I also have to give credit to my Clarisonic. That little guy is my night and shining armor! With that being said I would definitely recommend going into a department store and trying a sample of this foundation! I'm so picky about my foundations, and if I'm saying I like it then you know it's good.

I have always loved Zoya nail polish period! They are seriously the best out there. My Zoya collections is quite large! I change my nail color quite often! I recently uploaded a Zoya video introducing Zoya's Summertime. I didn't have time to do individual swatches all in that video. So as promised I will do swatches gradually as I get time. I have been OBSESSED with the color "Mira" It's a rich purple with no shimmer. It's Matte, and has definitely caught the eye of many of my classmates! It's a must have for 2011! Even though it says it's a summer color I will definitely be wearing this lil guy in the Fall as well. I took a lil snap shot of what it looks like on my nails! I LOVE it!

I LOVE my Coach New Poppy Graffiti Appliqué Glam Tote. It's seriously the best purchase I EVER made. It cheers me up every time I carry it. I love all the gorgeous details and it just screams Candace! I have never had more compliments on a handbag than this one. Another plus is this bag was limited edition. They only made about 1,0000 of these babies. You can't get this bag anywhere which I kinda like. I honestly hate seeing 500 other girls carrying the same bag I have. I wish all handbag companies did this. True Story. My BFF was in a bidding wore on ebay for this bag a couple of weeks ago. It was used and slightly dirty. She ended up loosing the bag to another bidder. The bid went for $390 for a used purse. She was disappointed, but I told her she could carry it anytime she wanted too. Haha! I'm such a good friend. As long as I can raid her closet it's all good! That's true friendship right there!

I've also been LOVING my hair curled. It's so fun and really creates a glamourous look. I need to do a tutorial on how I do mine. I took a picture with my IPHONE.. Hints the quality, but you get the point. Big Hair is definitely SEXY!

UPDATE* Vacation, Exciting Changes & New Beginnings!

Hey Lovies!

I'm sorry I haven't had time to make any videos lately, so I thought I would sit down and do a BLOG post. I thought this lil cartoon looked just like me.. Just take out those brown eyes and replace them with big BLUE ones! :) This is the last week of school, and then I have finals. Then it's officially Summer time. Although I'm taking two summer classes, but they will only last a month. I so need a break. I'm going on vacation in two weeks as soon as finals are over. I'm going to Texas for a mother daughter trip. Mom and I always go on mother daughter trips together. I'm so excited, because I love traveling, and I honestly just need a breather from school. I plan on filming a HONEY POT every day i'm on vacation. Whats a HONEY POT? It's "A Day In The Life Of Candace!" I love watching these types of videos. I need to do a haul soon. I have purchased quite a few new things, but just have no time to sit down and film. I have some exciting news though! I'm transferring to another University in the fall. I just got my apartment and it's gorgeous. I will have three other suite-mates. I call them suites-mates, because I think it sounds so much cuter than roommate. I just watched the roommate the other day.. OMG! It will make you never want one lol! But anyway as soon as I move and get settled in I will do an apartment tour video. I'm planning on getting all new decor and bed furnishings for my space. I really want to do the pink and green theme. I have been loving pink & green this year! I'm currently searching for new bedding and accessories for my room. If you guys see anything please let me know. The university i'm transferring to is far away from Florida. I'm sad to leave all my friends and family. It will be hard to leave when the time comes, but I'm excited for a new adventure! It's like i'm starting a new chapter in my life. I have a new major and i'll be in a new city. I'm upset because my apartment wont allow pets, which means Kroll my lil birdy can't come! :( But I know he'll be well taken care of by my mom! When I move to my new city, I will have to see if anyone in the area wants to do a meet up? That would be so much fun! I can already tell you guys that my April Favorites is going to be late!!! But I will get it up sometime! :) Hope everyone is having a great day despite the fact that's it Monday.. I only like Mondays for one reason! My shows 90210, Gossip Girl, and Secret Life!! Yay! They are my guilty pleasures!!!

Lilly Pulitzer♥Sorority Fashion & Advice For Rushing!

Hey Lovies! I am so excited about moving to a new city to start at a new University. I am planning on rushing in the fall. I have had a lot of questions as to what to wear. Joining a sorority can cost a lot of money. You have dues due every semester, and you definitely want to look the part. Your appearance is huge is getting a bid. Don't get me wrong that's not all it's about, but you want to look your best. A few tips I have would be to dress classy. Brands like Lilly Pulitzer, J.Crew, Banana Republic, and Ralph Lauren are perfect. You don't want to show to much skin or cleavage. You want to look classy and clean. Have a great attitude and be yourself. Don't gossip about other sororities, this makes you look bad to your potential sisters. You want to make an impression, and show them you would be a great fit in their sorority. As far as makeup goes "LIGHT and Natural" is the best way to go. Your potential sorority sisters want to see your natural beauty. I may do a video on sorority makeup soon. I have been OBSESSED with Lilly Pulitzer's 2011 collection. I could just hug that lil lady so tight! :) These are a few of the dresses I love & will be purchasing for Rush week. This should give you some idea on possibilities to wear. I have definitely become a Lilly Lover! I also attached a few cute pair of lilly sandals and an adorable bag. These are my must haves!!! I plan on doing a HUGE Lilly Haul Soon! :)

My College Apartment Tour

After living in the dorms for a semester I had enough! Dorm life was awful! I begged my parents to get me my own college apartment! Us girls can be very persuasive! I took these pictures over Christmas & decided to do a Blog post showing you guys how I decorated. I am really into the whole wine theme, so I tried to tie that into my decor. Decorating your own place is so much fun. It gave me a chance to make the place my own. I found that the best places to find adorable and affordable home decor is TJ Max, Target, Ross, Marshalls, Kirklands, Linens & Things, & Michaels. Those places are great for girls who want to express themselves on a budget, but still have it look adorable. I personally love seeing how other girls decorate their college apartments. I'm thinking of starting a website where girls can go and post their pictures of their rooms or whole apartments. I think it would give so many girls decorating ideas. I know when I was looking for ideas I couldn't hardly find any on the internet. I also am thinking about staring to take pictures of my friends rooms & posting them too. That way you can see how other college girls decorate their rooms too. We all have different styles & that's what makes it so much fun.

I have been on YouTube for one year now. I seriously can't believe it. I have to admit my makeup collection has grown since I stated making videos. I'm not a makeup artist by any means, but I have a lot of fun creating new looks. I think there is no point in keeping old makeup, because it can get contaminated & break you out. I don't know about you girls but, I HATE breaking out!!! I go through my makeup collection every month and throw out items that are old or that I know I will never use. I try to buy only makeup products that I can use and wear on a daily basis or on weekends when going out with my ladies! . I don't like throwing my money away on products I will never use. Every makeup purchase I make gets used. I have learned that having to much makeup isn't necessarily a good thing. Even one of my best friends who is a makeup artist agrees. I decided to take some pictures instead of making a long drawn out video showing you. It's my little collection, but I can honestly say that I use all of it.
